Members of the public are hereby informed that the President of the Republic has on 26 December 2014, on the advice of the Prime Minister, terminated with immediate effect the appointment of the Governor, Mr Rundheersing Bheenick, G.O.S.K and of the Second Deputy Governor, Mr Mohamad Issa Soormally under Section 113 of the Constitution.
