1. With reference to the Communiqué issued by the Bank of Mauritius (Bank) on 28th September 2011, a pre-bid meeting was held at 11.00 hours on Friday 28th October 2011.
2. The responses provided by the Bank to the queries of the bidders are reproduced in the annexure.
3. Bidders are hereby informed that they may contact the Cash Dealers to enquire about their Front End Trading Systems (FETS) during the consultation period spanning from 14th to 25th November 2011, subject to signing the required declaration of confidentiality as per section 64 (1) (a) (iii) of the Banking Act 2004.
4. Bidders are requested to make their own arrangements with the Cash Dealers but they should inform the Bank of the name of the Cash Dealers they will visit beforehand by email to head.corp.services@bom.mu or in writing to Head, Corporate Services Division. The list of Cash Dealers licensed by the Bank can be downloaded from the Bank’s website.
5. Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box at the address below on or before Wednesday 30th November 2011 up to 15.00 hrs (local time) at latest.
