In December 2012, section 55 of the Bank of Mauritius Act 2004 was amended to require the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) to take into account the views of the Bank, the Finance Ministry and such other institution or organisation as it considers appropriate in the discharge of its functions.
Any institution or organisation that has any views on the matter, which they wish to be conveyed to the MPC, should signify their interest in writing to the ‘Secretary of the MPC, 11th Floor, Bank of Mauritius Tower, Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis’ or by email to secretary.mpc@bom.mu.
