It has come to our notice that an entity, reporting to have its address at PO Box No. 668, Bell Village, Port Louis, has been advertising itself as ‘Poshbank’ and has been offering bank-like products to the public, on its website www.poshbank.com.
Members of the public are hereby informed that the said ‘Poshbank’ is neither licensed nor regulated by the Bank of Mauritius to carry on banking business or deposit-taking business in Mauritius.
The public is, therefore, cautioned in their dealings with the abovementioned entity.
The matter is currently being investigated by the relevant Authorities.
The public is further informed that a list of financial institutions duly licensed by the Bank of Mauritius is available on the Bank’s website https://www.bom.mu.
