At the conclusion of the 36th Assembly of Governors of the Association of African Central Banks (AACB) held on 30 August 2012 in Algeria, the Governor of the Bank of Algeria, His Excellency Mohammed Laksaci, has taken over the chairmanship of the AACB.
The Governor of the Bank of Mauritius, Mr Rundheersing Bheenick, has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the AACB, as unanimously proposed by Governors of the East African chapter.
The Bank of Mauritius is pleased to announce that it shall host the 37th Assembly of the AACB in August 2013.
