1. The Bank of Mauritius (Bank) invites bids from interested hardware and software suppliers for the supply and installation of Blade Servers, Storage Area Network and Software as detailed in the document “Request for Proposal (RFP) for Information Technology Security Solution Software, Backup Software and Equipment” which can be downloaded from the Bank’s Website at http://bom.intnet.mu/.
2. Bidders who wish to attend a Question and Answer Session to be held on 24 October 2008 at the Bank, are requested to register at latest by noon on 22 October 2008 by email to it.equipment@bom.intnet.mu or in writing to Head, Corporate Services Division, Bank of Mauritius, Cnr Royal Road and Bourbon Street, Port Louis, stating the number of attendees, their designation and the issues that they wish to raise.
3. The tender in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Chairperson, Tender Committee, Bank of Mauritius and clearly marked “Tender for Information Technology Security Solution Software, Backup Software and Equipment” on the top left corner should be deposited in the Tender Box of the Bank located on the 15th Floor, BOM Tower, Cnr Royal Road and Bourbon Street Port Louis, by 14th November 2008 at 16.00 hrs at latest.
4. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the whole exercise without thereby incurring any liability to any bidder or any obligation to inform bidders of the grounds of its action.
