On 30 March 2026, the Bank of Mauritius (Bank) terminated the conservatorship of Silver Bank Limited and appointed Mr Huns Biltoo of KPMG Mauritius as Receiver of Silver Bank Limited with immediate effect under section 75 of the Banking Act.
Pursuant to section 11(1)(h) of the Banking Act, the Bank has, on 30 April 2026, decided to revoke the Banking Licence of Silver Bank Limited with immediate effect.
Consequently, the Banking Licence issued to Silver Bank Limited on 11 November 2021 stands revoked with effect from 30 April 2026.
