The Bank of Mauritius informs members of the public that the Monetary Policy Committee has been reconstituted as follows:
- Mr Yandraduth Googoolye, Governor and Chairperson of the MPC, ex officio
- Dr Renganaden Padayachy, First Deputy Governor, ex officio
- Mr Mahendra Vikramdass Punchoo, Second Deputy Governor, ex officio
- Professor Sanjeev K Sobhee, appointed by the Prime Minister
- Mr Lim Chang Kwong Lam Thuon Mine, appointed by the Prime Minister
- Ms Pricilla Pattoo, appointed by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development
- Dr Streevarsen Narrainen, appointed by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development
- Mr Mushtaq Mohammad Namdarkhan, appointed by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development.
The meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee, initially scheduled for Friday 18 May 2018, has been postponed to Wednesday 30 May 2018 due to administrative matters.
