1.The Bank of Mauritius hereby invites tender from interested caterers to operate the Bank’s canteen for a one-year period renewable annually upon satisfactory performance. The Request For Proposal (RFP) document is available on the website of the Bank as well as at the Reception Desk of the Bank.
2. Tenders not conforming with the specifications and failing to provide the required details will be rejected.
3. Tenders in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Bank of Mauritius Canteen”, addressed to the Secretary, Bank of Mauritius, should be deposited in the Tender Box of the Bank located in the Secretary’s Office at the Bank of Mauritius, Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis by Friday 5 October 2007 by 16.00 hours at latest. Late submission of tenders will not be considered.
4. Tenders should remain valid for 60 days as from date of submission.
5. During the evaluation period the Bank may call for any additional information it may require.
6. Tenders should be submitted to the nearest rupee, net of all special discounts.
7. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any tender even the lowest, and to annul the tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to the award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any tenderer or any obligation to inform the tenderer of the grounds for its action.
