The Public is hereby informed that on 7 December 2009, SBM LEASE Limited, licensed by the Bank of Mauritius to conduct deposit taking business under the Banking Act 2004, merged with State Bank of Mauritius Ltd, its holding company. Following the merger, SBM LEASE Limited surrendered its Deposit-Taking Licence to the Bank of Mauritius on 23 December 2009.
The Deposit-Taking Licence issued by the Bank of Mauritius in the name of SBM LEASE LIMITED therefore stands cancelled.
