1. The Bank of Mauritius (Bank) invites bids in sealed envelopes from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of a solution to carry out participant-side processing of image based cheque clearing in the Banking Office of the Bank. The requirements of the system are fully described in the bidding document, which may be downloaded from the website of the Bank at https://www.bom.mu
2. Bidders are required to provide separate bids for the different Options proposed.
3. Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box or sent by postal mail to the address below on or before Friday 19 October 2012 at latest by 15.00 hrs (local time).

4. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected. The words “Image Based Cheque Processing System” together with the option number, should be clearly marked on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
5. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to cancel the bidding exercise without incurring any liability or without having any obligation to inform bidders of the reasons thereof.
