The Bank of Mauritius (Bank) is pleased to announce the extension to 31 December 2020 of the moratoriums granted to economic operators (including Small and Medium Enterprises), households and individuals under its COVID-19 Support Programme. The terms and conditions of the moratoriums remain unchanged.
Economic operators and members of the public may refer to the clarifications published by the Bank on 15 April 2020. The Bank is closely monitoring the economic situation in the country. It will take any measure it deems appropriate to maintain the stability of the financial system and mitigate any adverse impact on the economy, consistent with its statutory responsibilities.
