The Bank of Mauritius (Bank) invites bids from interested parties for the provision of Safety and Health Services for a period of three years. Bids should be valid for a period of 90 days and accompanied with a profile of the company. Details should be provided on the Directors, turnover, and the number of staff with Health and Safety Certificate.
2. The selected company, which shall be registered and qualified and has Safety and Health as one of its core functions, will be responsible, inter alia, for setting up and implementing an Occupational Safety and Health Policy at the Bank, implementing and monitoring Safety and Health Audits and providing training to staff of the Bank in the area of Occupational Safety and Health.
3. The tender in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Chairperson, Tender Committee, Bank of Mauritius, and clearly marked “Tender for Safety and Health Services” on the top left corner, should be deposited in the Tender Box of the Bank located on the 15th Floor, BOM Tower, Corner Royal Road and Bourbon Street, Port Louis, by 10 October 2008 at 16 00 hrs at latest. Any bid submitted after the closing date, as well as those submitted by fax or email, will not be considered.
4. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the whole exercise without thereby incurring any liability to any bidder or any obligation to inform bidders of the grounds of its action.
