The next meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee has been rescheduled and will be held on 22 September instead of 29 September 2009 as initially announced in the Monetary Policy Statement released on 29 June 2009.
The decision of the MPC on the key Repo Rate, through which the Bank of Mauritius signals its monetary policy stance, will be announced at 1800 hours on the same day.
